For a green social market economy

Since its founding, HubOne has always made sure to plan and build according to the latest and most modern standards when developing new commercial real estate. Environmental protection is important to us in this. We use renewable energy as well as sustainable building materials. We are constantly looking for new technologies to reduce our energy consumption and increase the share of renewable energy.

That's why we work continuously to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, produce renewable energy at our locations, promote biodiversity on our green spaces or design appropriate compensation measures, use resources responsibly, and save energy through the use of modern technologies.

We also pay attention to good access to public transport at our locations and build and operate EV charging infrastructure. Working together with locally based companies is also important to us.

Our latest concepts are geared toward sustainability – including in terms of the service life and flexibility of our properties. We are convinced that competitiveness and environmental protection can, and must, go hand in hand. Our business partners share this conviction too – customers, manufacturers and suppliers as well as general contractors. When choosing our partners, we check whether they share our vision – this also applies to the tenants of our properties.

The people who work for HubOne or use our properties can rely on experiencing modern working conditions and the highest standards. In our concept, space for breaks and recovery is an important component, but work itself should also take place in an environment that reflects the principles of New Work. Our buildings consistently generate a high quality of stay and wellbeing. This includes workplace safety and health protection.

HubOne is committed to its social responsibility. That's why we support environmental projects and local institutions. At our locations, we are partners of local government and work closely with decision-makers and officials from the earliest stages of project development. This creates a high level of acceptance for our projects and strengthens the shared responsibility for sustainable jobs for the people who call the towns and cities where HubOne develops new locations home.

We believe in rules and fair competition

We pay strict attention to compliance with national and European laws and regulations. Our employees are aware that we expect ethical conduct in day-to-day business and in all business relationships. We firmly reject any form of corruption and bribery. HubOne counters this through open and transparent communication with the public and our business partners. We condemn any form of forced or child labour and pay attention to a sustainable supply chain in all business processes. We do not tolerate undeclared work or illegal employment. We expect the same from our business partners and the tenants of our properties.

Where interests conflict or doubts arise about the right decision, we follow the principle of taking responsibility – one of the RICS Global Professional and Ethical Standards: we name problems openly, correct mistakes promptly and learn from every incident.
